Wills & Estates in detailA company served with a statutory demand has 21 days to pay the debt, secure it or reach a compromise to the creditor's reasonable satisfaction, or apply to court to set the demand aside. If it does none of these, a court hearing a winding up application made within the following three months must presume it is insolvent unless it proves otherwise, so send it, or any court document, to us the day it arrives.
